These terms
These terms apply when you use the Clyvio clinic console, the Clyvio patient app (including apps branded with your clinic's name), or this website. By using Clyvio you agree to them, and to our privacy policy. Clinics also sign a subscription agreement with us; if it conflicts with these terms, the subscription agreement applies.
Clyvio is not your doctor
Clyvio helps clinics and families keep track of care. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Your doctor and clinic are responsible for your care, and Clyvio's explanations only reflect what they have recorded.
Who can use Clyvio
- Clinics that have a subscription with us, and the staff they authorise.
- Patients of those clinics who are adults, or who are managed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Family members and carers whom a patient or guardian invites to their Care Circle.
You're responsible for keeping your phone, login and verification codes secure.
For clinics
- Only licensed professionals may make clinical decisions or approve care plans in Clyvio.
- Guidance published in Knowledge Studio is the clinic's clinical content. Only doctors may publish it, and the clinic is responsible for keeping it accurate and current.
- The clinic is responsible for the accuracy of records it creates and for having the patient notices and consents the law requires.
- The clinic assigns staff roles and must remove access when someone leaves.
- Messages sent through Clyvio, including WhatsApp reminders, must follow messaging rules and patient preferences.
For patients and families
- Your clinic invites you to Clyvio. What you see comes from your clinic's records.
- You decide who joins your Care Circle and what they can see, and you can change this at any time.
- If you act on someone's behalf — booking, uploading reports or setting reminders — you must have their permission, or be their legal guardian.
- If something in your record looks wrong, tell your clinic; they can correct it.
AI features
Ask My Care explains your care using only your records and your doctors' published guidance, and shows where each answer came from. It can still be wrong or incomplete, so always check anything important with your clinic. For doctors, AI-drafted notes are suggestions; nothing reaches a patient until a doctor reviews and approves it.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Access, or try to access, records you aren't authorised to see.
- Use Clyvio for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading, or to send unwanted messages.
- Upload malicious code, or probe, overload or disrupt the service.
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer Clyvio, except where the law allows.
Fees
Clyvio is free for patients and families — now and later. Clinics pay the fees set out in their subscription agreement.
Your data
Information in Clyvio belongs to the patient and their clinic, not to us. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide and secure the service, as described in our privacy policy. You can download your full record at any time.
Our service
The Clyvio software, design and brand belong to Clyvio Health. We work to keep Clyvio available and secure, and we may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that significantly affects how you use Clyvio, we'll tell you in advance where we can.
Suspension and closure
You can stop using Clyvio and close your account at any time. We may suspend access that puts patients, records or the service at risk, or that breaks these terms. If a clinic stops using Clyvio, patients can still download their records, and health records are retained as the law requires.
Disclaimers and liability
We provide Clyvio with care, but to the extent the law allows, we provide it “as is” and can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for clinical decisions made by clinics, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. For clinics, liability is set out in the subscription agreement.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Clyvio grows or the law changes, and will give notice of significant changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Questions? Write to us at hello@clyviohealth.com.
